Pooling the Levelling Systems Product Portfolio

Oliver Drinkwater has been responsible for all hydraulic levelling systems activities (HY2, HY4, LevelC, LevelM, LevelM Pro, LevelVan) in the group of companies worldwide since April 2024.

As the former owner of E&P Hydraulics UK, he commands the relevant expertise. In his new role as managing director E&P Hydraulics, headquartered in Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands, he is responsible for the complete levelling systems product portfolio within the AL-KO Group. He will focus even more strongly on customer needs and will collaborate with his team to provide customers with excellent advice and support. Another priority is the strategic planning for the expansion and differentiation of the product portfolio, with the key objective of expanding the network of OEMs, dealers and end customers.

He says: “Having run my own business for the past twenty years, AL-KO offered me a new and bigger challenge – to help E&P reach its full po-tential by creating a focused center of excellence for hydraulic levelling systems (HLS), utilizing the world-class resources we have within the wider AL-KO VT Group, channeled in a way to deliver clear innovation, quality and high customer service. I’m extremely excited to be given this opportunity and look forward to the exciting journey we are embarking on together.”

Harald Hiller, President & CEO AL-KO Vehicle Technology, comments: “With this pooling we want to provide dealers and end customers in this business area with an even easier way to find the right products with the right features. To this end, we need to differentiate our portfolio more distinctly, organize the teams more tightly and, together with R&D, specify the next development steps in a very distinct and future-proof manner.”

E&P Hydraulics stands for professional levelling system solutions for caravans, campervans and motorhomes in the AL-KO product portfolio. Since its founding nearly twenty years ago, E&P made a significant con-tribution to the success of these systems in the leisure vehicle market. AL-KO had already started to bundle its areas of expertise in 2018 when it first acquired E&P Hydraulics in the Netherlands. The company then acquired E&P Hydraulics UK in 2021.
