About SAWIKO

SAWIKO has been known for more than 25 years on the camper and caravanning market as a specialist for high-quality trailer couplings, rear carriers, motorbike loading aids, storage space extensions and frame extensions, and recently also for products in the solar and energy management sector. Within the AL-KO Vehicle Technology group of companies, SAWIKO is the expert for the entire after-market sector and convinces with quality, competence and premium service: so that customers are safe on the road with comfortable, high-quality and well thought-out products.

A success story

The SAWIKO success story began in 1995. The mission: Recognising the needs in the market for camper accessories, trailer couplings and load-carrier systems and serving them with products that are as high-quality as they are innovative. The recipe for success is quickly established: The focus is not only on one sales pillar, but on OEMs, dealers and end customers alike. A new chapter in SAWIKO's history is opened at the end of 2011 when the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group takes over the accessories specialist. The acquisition of SAWIKO allows the company to significantly strengthen its European aftermarket business and further expand its proximity to customers who purchase products from a trade partner. Today, the approximately 70 SAWIKO experts in the group are the drivers for the marketing of recreational vehicle accessories throughout Europe.

Always close to the customers

With a Europe-wide dealer network and its own customer centres in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Italy, and soon also in Austria, the company is present throughout the most important European caravanning markets. Especially in the customer centre at the SAWIKO company headquarters in Neuenkirchen-Vörden, the wishes of OEMs, dealers and consumers are analysed at an early stage thanks to direct customer feedback and implemented in new products and services in line with market requirements.

The expert workshop teams of the AL-KO customer centres also offer end customers high-quality service in five other locations.

Technology at its best

Nearly all SAWIKO products are produced in Germany and stand for the highest quality. Daily customer contact flows into product development. The company works with state-of-the-art technology, applies efficient processes and continuously optimises. It continually invests in research and development and offers high-quality engineering. The testing systems in particular are state-of-the-art, because the products place maximum demands on product safety. Accordingly, SAWIKO and its team of experts stand for the highest manufacturing and safety standards and excellence in production.
